Michael Douglas Richards is an English artist specializing in mixed media abstract figure and portrait paintings. Originally from Cumbria, Michael has loved art from a young age and began drawing as soon as he was able to hold a pencil. He got his start painting commissioned children's portraits, but his passion lies in more abstract art.

A largely self-taught artist, he has traveled to Canada, Asia, America, and Africa, drawing inspiration from the diverse cultures and experiences he encountered along the way.
